I joined the Back40 FC in November, 2010. It’s been a good group to fly with, where we all look out for each other. The planes are well equipped and maintained, which for IFR flying is perfect. As a not-for-profit, it’s refreshing to focus on the flying, not on the profits. No one harasses you about using the planes and they’re available 24 hrs a day. The FW AeroCenter is great to work with and they are there to assist. While the field is Class C, some of the friendliest controllers help you out and it very much does feel like a small, local field. Check us out today, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
