Back 40 Flying Club

Learn about the Club

Location

The Back Forty Flying club is a not-for-profit IRS 501(c)(7) organization based at the Fort Wayne International Airport. This brings us access to six runways, four precision instrument approaches, and all the safety margins you can expect from a large airport. At the same time, FWA is small enough to make talking with ATC an easy and friendly experience.

Scheduling and Availability

The Back Forty Flying club utilizes Schedule Master for online scheduling. We have a low member to aircraft ratio making for excellent availability. Just log on, make your schedule, and head for the airport. Telephone scheduling is also available for occasions when you do not have Internet access. We use Atlantic Aviation for our line and FBO services, and their extended hours make aircraft access extremely convenient, whether planned in advance or for a last minute flight.

Long cross country flights are within your reach. Our members have flown to New England, Florida, Canada, and Alaska, to name a few. We have very low daily minimums (1 or 2 hours), and fuel purchases while off base are fully reimbursed. See our Operations and Policy manual for full details.

Facilities

Both planes are based at Hangar 45 (map), which has easy access from Ferguson Road, just Northwest of the main terminal building. Members get their own keys to access the aircraft and hangar. The hangar is heated during the winter, and has an attached air conditioned / heated lounge with restrooms. Atlantic Aviation provides excellent line service which includes aircraft fueling and towing.

Maintenance

We have access to on-field maintenance, meaning minimum downtime in the event of scheduled or unexpected repairs. We have two members serving as maintenance officers, and they have proven themselves experienced and reliable. We have a squawk system in place that makes all members aware of recent maintenance, and allows for easy reporting of new issues.
The only thing they bothered to change was the rolex replica uk on the dials. The colors themselves do perfectly line up with any particular hour marker, and it is clear if the colors are there to help read the time or just for an aesthetic addition to the dial. I believe this is why replica watches keeps mentioning that the rolex replica watches is for the youngest of children, while the replica watches sale are for slightly older children. With that said, I think that there is a bit of a missed opportunity here in the design of the dial to be a bit more clever when it comes to actually reading the replica watches uk or helping to combine the learning of various pieces of information such as reading the time, letter and number association. From many customers, we know that it is durable, fashion and so on. As a result, many customers often come back to buy one by one when they have a try. They will introduce their replica watches colleagues to buy the watch. This is why the replica cartier watch become famous.
